Websites for Parents

Here are some of my favorite websites to use in the classroom with my students. They are great for parents to use at home as well for supplemental materials. They are all great for reteaching or challenging students and can be used for multiple grade levels!

Reading Websites:

Abc Ya is a great website with Math and Reading games. It is a great tool to use at home or in the classroom for supplemental work. I use it both for reteaching and challenging students. My favorite thing is using it to make word searches with our Spelling Words!

Starfall is another favorite of mine for teaching Reading. Starfall uses phonemic awareness and phonics to help young readers.

Fun Brain is a website with Reading and Math games for K-8. It is a great site that includes some fun games for teaching all aspects of Language Arts.

 

 

 

Math Websites:

https://jr.brainpop.com/

 

Brain Pop Jr. is a fun site for students in grades K-3. I use it mostly for Math and learning our Math facts in my classroom.

 

 

http://www.kidsmathgamesonline.com/

 

This is a fun website with a bunch of different Math games. It's great to use for students with different ability levels.
